October is a crisp Saturday afternoon at a farmer’s market with your favorite other half:
It is the produce that I purchased which will make for a delicious and warm fall dinner:
It’s first day marks the birthday of my two, beautiful best friends, Katlyn and Kristina:
It’s a busy time of year in our neighboring city of Salem, for Haunted Happenings; but we still go out there anyways:

Its definitely time to be a little more silly than usual:
(Jeanna and Jay, newly engaged, Jay is Katlyn and Kristina’s big bro)
October is perfect running weather; 4.5 miles in 45 minutes on this beautiful day!!! And, October also is the perfect month for a little pumpkin lovin’
Post-run reward: Pumpkin Pie Protein Oats topped with almonds, extra cinnamon and agave 🙂
In the mix:
1/2 cup oats
1/2 large and very ripe banana
1 T agave
1 dash of cinnamon
1/2 t organic pumpkin pie spice c/o Megan
2 organic egg whites
1/4 c Libby’s pumpkin
1 T blanched almonds
1 extra dash of cinnamon
1 drizzle of agave
So so soooo good! Wonderful way to celebrate my run 🙂
I can also tell you what October is not:
Ever a good time to drink whisky infused with bacon. ‘Nough said big bro 🙂
Tell me what October is to you?
Have a wonderful fall and fabulous Sunday.
lots of love,
Em
